For the second meet of the year we are going to do something different.
We will be visiting the Riverside Museum: Scotland's Museum of Transport & Travel in Glasgow. I would like to suggest meeting there at 12pm to get the most out of the visit.
It is free to enter but you need to pay for parking. There is a cafe and a restaurant for those wanting to eat and also an inside picnic area if you want to take your own food.
Please let me know if you will be attending.

We will have a display area with our gazebo and club banner on display.This is a great venue with some very interesting specialist cars aiming forfastest time of the day up the hill.

So why not join us, and help celebrate the clubs 60^thanniversary. Time permitting we will have a parade run up the hill to fly theflag and promote the club. Tickets are £10 each in advance (£12 on the gate)please get in touch and lets make this a great day for our club.

We are planning a Guided tour around Biddenden Vineyard where we can taste and sample some of there fine wines and find out how they are produced.The address is Gribble Lane, Biddenden, Ashford, Kent TN27 8DF. The cost of this is £6 If you would like to go please let me know

April 28th Castle Combe Spring Action Day

April 29th Prescott Hill Climb, Cheltenham

We will be teaming up with Wessex and Western Region for these events, so if you are interested in attending, please let me know asap so we can book tickets!

Also, please remember that its the clubs 60th Anniversary this year, so there is a special parade been organised by Ron at the Hill Climb, so if you would like to join in!

We have been invited to show our cars at the Harris Hospice care fun day again this year. It was a great success last year with the hospice raising much needed funds for the hospice. I really do think this is a good charity and it would be great if we could have the largest exhibition of vehicles. This will be held on the green at orpington Bromley. This is a free event. Please let me know if you would like to attend.

We have chosen to do something different for our June meet and enjoy an evening of 50s 60s&70s on a paddle steamer leaving chatham dockyard about 7 The cost of this will be £17 per person if we can get enough people to go we should be able to get a discount for a group booking. We will be holding our concours this year at Biggin hill Recreation ground on Saturday 7th July. The organisers have kindly agreed it can run along side with the Biggin Hill Festival fair. They have kindly agreed to give us our own area. There will be lots to do for the families while the judging is taking place. The attractions consist of Classic,Veterian,Vintage Sports Displays, Arena with events Stalls an attraction. This should be a really good day for all the family.
