The May monthly meet is the now legendary drive to Kenmore. We will go the the car park we went to last year for a BBQ (weather permitting). But I will need to know who is coming for the BBQ for the food. So it is important that you add your name to the list so I know how many I am shopping for. I am not going to post the route, because I haven't planned it yet but I can send it to anyone who wants to see it nearer the time. Just pm me your email address.

Hi all , we have again been invited to attend this car show which is on Sunday 13th May 2012.
We will be hooking up with our "Northern Cousins" for this one also . Although there is no entry fee this year as always they are supporting a good cause which this year is "The Sir Bobby Robson Fund" you may want to donate to this on the day ??????
PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE DISTANCE WE WILL BE TRAVELING THIS WILL BE A VERY EARLY START !!!!!!!
So if you fancy a spot please put your name here ( As always places will be given to B.M.W.C.C.Scotland members first !! )

M Power owners can participate in a display at the DTM races at Brands Hatch on 20th May 2012.

We have the opportunity to showcase up to 75 of our M Power cars at this amazing event, not only in a static display but also we have been granted track time ahead of the DTM races where approx 40 to 50 of our cars will be able to participate in several laps of the track in front of the assembled crowds (and press and TV!)

As well as the preferential parking the display will provide I'm able to supply entry tickets at just £14 per head (less than half price!).

To book your car in for the display and purchase your tickets (up to 4 per car) please call the Club Office to make your payment. When booking, we will also want to know a few details about your car:

The 2012 annual Show 'n' Shine including Concours will once again be held at Ross Priory on the banks of Loch Lomond. Anyone who has been here before will know that this is a stunning venue.

As last year the event will be sponsored by .....



Following last years format there will be 2 classes in the show -

Masterclass (concours)
Pride of ownership (Show n Shine)

Everyone is welcome to come along to enjoy a fun day in a stunning setting. Hopefully we will have some concours cars turn out for the event as well as the usual fantastic turn out for the Show n Shine!

  • Date - 3rd June 2012
  • Entry is restricted to BMW and BMW Minis
  • There will be a charge of £10 per person (children free) for this event; this is to allow the club to make a donation to Ross Priory (part of the University of Strathclyde - The University of Strathclyde is a charitable body, registered in Scotland, number SC015263.) for kindly agreeing to host the event. It will also cover a BBQ provided as usual by me!!
  • Please do not arrive before 10am as entry into the venue will be from then. Judging will take place from around 11.30.
  • There is an external tap available connected to a hose. Please bring your own buckets.
  • There is a small kids play park so please feel free to bring the family.
As is custom it is important that you add your name to the following list so I can gauge how much food to bring for the BBQ including any passengers you will have with you. (You can bring your own picnic if you prefer but please indicate this next to your name)

If you intend to show your car it will be entry on the day.

We have been invited to show our cars at the Harris Hospice care fun day again this year. It was a great success last year with the hospice raising much needed funds for the hospice. I really do think this is a good charity and it would be great if we could have the largest exhibition of vehicles. This will be held on the green at orpington Bromley. This is a free event.
