They also think that a tyre blow out results in certain death and mayhem, which of course, if dealt with correctly, it doesn't. I was witness to a young woman driving her Peugeot 206 a couple of years ago on the M5, when the OSF tyre blew in spectacular style. She kept her cool, kept driving, gradually reducing her speed without braking and eased the car onto the hard shoulder. Simples!]]>
