BMs on the Lawn, Sunday 5 July 2015

Tropicana Hard Standing, Beach Lawns, Beach Road, Weston-super-Mare. BS23 1BE

Classic and modern BMWs/Minis will be on display at what is hoped to be a record-breaking show in Weston-super-Mare.
The Beach Lawns will again be decked out with cars as the Western Region of the BMW Car Club pay the town a visit with this Show and Shine event with sponsors Clayton Cars of Bristol.

Show organiser Robert Scanlan said the event last year was a tremendous success with over 125 cars attending.

It is hoped that a real variety of BMWs will be on show and it would be useful to let Robert know if you intend to attend as he will be able to organise the positioning of your car/s as is appropriate.

Entrance fee to the show is £5 per car which includes optional Show and Shine. Trophies and prizes supplied by the sponsors Clayton Cars of Bristol.
Access to the venue is from 09:00 and finishes at 16:00.
There is plenty to occupy the family in very close proximity if you wish to bring them along, i.e. Grand Pier, Seaquarium, Pirate Golf, Restaurants, Cafés and Pubs and of course the beach!.

I understand the reason there is a 5 pounds fee is that the local authority now charge for the use of the lawn? Is that correct? However, it is a great day out and well worth attending, looking forward to it as usual.

I shall be happy to supply some prizes for the raffle, as I have won many myself in past years and its always good fun.

Sorry, I'd love to come in the Z4 but unfortunately I have a prior engagement.
