Can I thank all the boys and girls for the entertainment they provided last Sunday. Clap

With a special shout out to Zoran in his 'baby-blue' E30 318is - out for the fun, not the glory - well done that man. Thumbs Up

Not quite a full grid, that honour went to the 40 mini's Shocked but a lot better than the maximum 12 we saw for the 2 x 90 min S&T & Trophy [aka Britcar] races on Saturday  Thumbs Down

See you all again soon I hope

Last weekend was proper grassroots racing. A family weekend with everyone enjoying themselves, Smile but with very few marshals Unhappy

Next weekend will be on the TV, so loads of spectators and marshals galore Wink

As a SRC member I watch most events from cv2 racing to F1 it is all good as far as I am concerned and I enjoy going around when I can in my own cars for fun and not competition.

Not concerned about so called crowds, never really see many except for classic or F1 or Moto GP. We have our own clubhouse and grandstand so no worried about the general public at all.

Most of the events which are in the calendar there are very few people at except for the competitors and staff.

Kumho has always been pretty competitive. When I started building my car E30's weren't of much interest to the organisers so I went else where.

I'm going along to the boring cars this weekend to see a few mates who are racing. Hopefully the weather is good.

The Kumho at Silverstone was great fun and lots of close racing in every class the difference between first and second was very small - in class C it was only 0.002 of a second

The grids will be bigger again next year as any BMW car with a BMW engine has a place as long as fits the standard regs and power to weight to keep it competitive and costs down

I am sure we will see more E30s in future years
