I knew this gent, I think he had an E38? Met him at 7 series weekend at Great Yarmouth and at Duxford a number of times. I think he also used to go to the pub meets near Dorking.

For what I recall he was a member of several different clubs, nice chap, sorry to hear this news.

You will be pleased to know, I am sure, that Geoff's BMW has gone to a good home. I had known him for about 40 years through Surrey Sporting Motor Club but lost touch when I got married in 1987 and moved to Kent.
He came back into our lives when he turned up doing the results for the Classic Rallytour regularity events in France in 2003 and we took up exactly where we left off. He hadn't changed a bit - still the "Nutty Professor".  I had admired the 740 ever since he bought it and have acquired it from Geoff's executor - another old friend from the SSMC days.

Anyone want a 2008 Skoda Octavia?  Big smile
