Hi Folks,
I would be interested to know your thoughts on the Miracle Additive from FTC, as advertised on page 11 of  his months Straight Six magazine.

Have any of you tried it?
Does it do what the advert professes?
Have any of you used the product in an e46 M3?
If already using Shell V-Power with this product is there likely to be any addition benefit?

Cheers
Paul

FTC Sends Refunds to Consumers Duped by Marketers Who Claimed Fuel Additive Could Drastically Increase Fuel Economy and Reduce Emissions"

Just google search and I think you'd walk away, I should say that I haven't checked the mag but as this is FTC it's probably the same?

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you...

I agree with your summary of these pellets, powders, potions, elixirs, etc., in principle, but in this case you're confusing two different 'FTC's.

FTC is the US Federal Trade Commission, and where your link goes to.

FTC is the product/company name of this dubious product (Fuel Tank/Treatment Catalyst).

However, I'm not sure whether it is or should be the onus of the club magazine to audit claims made by advertisers.

Adverts in the magazine are sourced and printed by our publishers, and we do not see them prior to publication.
