Right
I have insulted at the AGM a lady who did not deserve it because of my ignorance and it is now up to me to fix that! Would any South West members that read this please let me know that this forums is at least read by anyone in the West Country. I challenge ANY of you to tell me that the South West Region has ANY forum active members! I am being deliberately "out there" so that we can find out how many people read the South West Regions Threads. Please just put a reply (preferably with some banter) or if you are a "lurker" (that is a official forum term NOT an insult) and do not want to post then please email me letting me know that you are reading the forum. duncan@Zroadster.org

Thanks for posting at least I now know three people at least read the south west posts! Are you interested in anything in particular, like cruises, shows, drives out or anything at all.

Hi Duncan,
yes I am a regular attendee of the Cornwall monthly meets and attend our events whenever I can, I will be at Wheels again this year and Gaydon. I enjoy drives out too but we haven't organised many of them so far. I know we were thinking of Haynes or Beaulieu this year too................ |

If you guys fancy the Haynes one when I did the Westcountry Cruise back in March we had a number who said they would love to do the Haynes trip especially as there is a national trust p[lace nearby for the ladies if they did not want to be in the Museum. So I could email some of them and we mighht get some more takers. So friends (not all BMW) and I are planning an Evening drive some time down from bideford to Padstow for a fish and Chip Supper sort of a mid week drive so wew could even publish that on here so if people wanted they could meet up for a Rich Stiens Fish and Chips (I know they are dear but it is the drive that is it really. LOL) what do people think

Yes, I do read the SW Region forum, although I live in France!
I used to be a member of the SW Committee before we moved, and was one of the few active members - but soon became convinced that people did not want any event which involved them driving for more than 20 miles - if that! Apart from the SW Concours, which was always well supported, the level of apathy was amazing - we tried pub lunchtime meets during winter, and on one occasion were rewarded by ONE member. Maybe things have changed since 2004 . . . |

Hi Duncan
I personally can't make it, but I know there are members from the Devon group going, quite a few I think, who are on display up there
