Good to have a London Region
This maybe of interest to you & your members..every March I help run a Workshop @ SkidMarques in Brentwood for the 7 series Register. Which includes huge discounts on the Hunter Wheel alignment & other services, they also allow us access to their workshop & 2 hoists for repairs & services etc.. Keith & Sharon run a great family friendly business & provide us with a BBQ all for a donation to their named charity's & a number having the Wheel alignment done to cover their costs. If this is of any interest for your members you can PM me for further information. It's only just the other side of the M25? http://www.skidmarquesltd.com Andrew The 7 Series Register Moderator & BMWCC Wessex Member. Edited by AOsgood - 20 May 2014 at 10:58pm |

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the response, impressive wall art. A March meet would not go down well with Z1 owners, they rarely come out of hibernation before May. The idea is to make London based members feel special with their very own range of 'doorstep' services they can benefit from, like popping to the supermarket. But our first challenge is to get a regular meet off the ground. Regards J.B Edited by Jett - 21 May 2014 at 12:43pm |

Hi guys,
I was wondering if any meets are planned for the London Region? I live in Bromley SE London and it would be good to meet other enthusiasts. Cheers Anthony |

Hi Anthony,
Most definitely, its not been widely publicised yet, but hoping to correct that from the next issue of SS. Our first run will most likely be towards the East, I'm scouting suitable locations as we speak, somewhere easy to get to, free parking, preferably overlooking the Docklands skyline and free complimentary beer. (why not?) Watch this space and please mention it to any other interested owners. Thanks for showing an interest. J.B

HI - I thought the London Region was Tim Fathers and the Knebworth show will be one of the N London Herts meets as it has been for years and also an E30 event so worth coming together to make the display bigger cheers

Neil - Tim Fathers is still London Region Chairman! My predecessor Paul Leggett organised/attended Knebworth last year plus the Herts Classic Car Show and enjoyed them all. So I just decided to give it a whirl too. I was surprised that very few Beema's were in attendance at this Venue (only 3). Fortunately for me Jane Fox , Paul and Nicola Wright (from London Region) turned up but mentioned that they had not been aware of this Event in their area. I do agree with your sentiments on "coming together" and with an E30 input would be an added attraction. Knebworth was pleasant day out though and a pretty decent spot. |

Hia - Myself and Richard Stern built the Knebworth show up several years ago - but despite purchasing tickets in advance for the club out of our own money we had to chase around to get the support but we did have a space on the hill with 20+ cars several years ago - its on the London region should take over being so close to Stevenage - it remains an E30 event on the calendar - have you booked club tickets or individual Jamal - there are companies in Hertfordshire and London already offering all club members discounts might be worth following up or highlighting those - |

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, the club directory lists most if not all of the current benefits, but if you are aware of anymore, do send a copy to the club office for inclusion. Many Thanks Jamal
