I put some new grills on my car. What do you think?

I can't say I like the effect - the grilles look like large black holes!

Anyway, matte black grilles was a fad which is on the way out, I think, and was something which people wanted in order to be different . . . but when lots of people fit matte black grilles they alll look the same.

I think your car would look better with body colour white grilles, while retaining the chrome surrounds - a Seven Series is not a boy racer car which suits the dubious benefits of matte black.

Sorry to be negative, but you DID ask for opinions . . .

Looks ok, and I guess you like it!

I'm afraid to say I've never gone away from liking nice subtle pieces of chromium plating on a car... Wink

Sorry, I'm not ignoring you all. I just haven't had chance to check the forum.
I did ask for your opinions, and than you for sharing.
I agree, Matt black grills are over done and look tacky. I went for gloss black grills to match the shadowline trim. If I had the standard chrome trim, then I would have kept the chrome grills, but I think the black fits better.

I like them too. Tho its how you feel, did you feel undecided when you where fitting them?

Sorry I was looking through some of your photos on photobucket and you have some amazing and stunning pictures on there! Well done.

Just a quick question after power washing the boot area, have you ever noticed any water entering the boot along the latch side like the plastic or the carpet?
