Just 4 weeks to go before our season opener at Oulton Park on Feb 22nd
It's selling well but I still have some places left. If you are one of our BMW Car Club members, dont forget that the £25 discount offer expires next week on Jan 31st - after that you will be paying £145 like everyone else! There are still some cheap £29 rooms left at the Middlewich Travelodge on the A54 (8 miles from the circuit) and we will be using the 'Salt Cellar' pub for our meet up on the Tuesday evening (it's just next door to the Travelodge) Speak soon Nick Edited by Nick Wright - 24 Jan 2012 at 9:32pm |

If you live near OP and you can do it - please give it a go. We can't go but I wish we could. It is amazingly safe - do not worry - go and do it and get totally hooked. We will see you at Cadwell Park for your 2nd outing

Yes thanks to Nick for yesterday!
Conditions in the morning were very tricky meant I just tip-toed round on R888s, Druids always scares the life out of me!! I saw a red E30 do a perfect 360 round there, sadly my camera wasn't on at the time!

HaHa, nice to hear i'm not alone then. had a right "moment" there in the morning on entry. went in a tad too wide and maybe a trifle too hot. i count myself lucky that a dab of opposite lock saved the day

Agree another well organised event Nick
Druids was a bit of a handful, first time at Oulton Park and in the wet was tricky to say the least
Did anyone get any decent pictures? I took some but not been able to get them checked and uploaded as yet, and obviously wasn't able to get any of myself

Weather was better than expected, although the track appeared to remain a bit damp for some of you folks. Enjoyed my quick visit to spectate and meet a few friendly faces both BM club and m3cutters.
Hope to see you again at the next meet. |

Glad you all had a good time - I've still got winter tyres on and not really ready for track days yet. The winter tyres scrabble around for grip at the back when it's cold and wet - so all in all - probably just as well I stayed at home
![]() Ian - I'm booking some passenger laps in your M3 at Cadwell I badly badly miss mine but the man I'm married to won't let me buy another one !! |

It did have a dryish line from about 11:30, still a bit tricky round Druids exit and first corner then full dry line from after the lunch break 1:30-3:15 so not bad at all considering the much wetter forecast.
Here's some video from the day! Embedded video in post - Darren. (Great video BTW!)
