Straight Six Mag - Delivery

   I wondering if you guys could help me with something:

It takes ages for my Straight Six mag to drop on the door step, and the worst one was 3 weeks late in Sept last year. The October one landed the following week!

As it stands now, i have realised the extent of this problem as fellow members in my region are texting me about the letter i wrote in the mag since Friday, but mine still hasn't arrived.

I am assuming that all the magazines are posted on the same day by the printers, so surely there can't be more than 24 hours delay between the first and last magazine lost? (Accepted that the odd one may go astray for a couple of days, or for the extemities of the country it may take a day or so longer.)

Can you please post on this thread what day your magazine arrived last/this week so i can see if there is just a problem with my sorting office/postman or if there is just a general issue with delivery.

	Mine arived today in rural France! The correct place to ask about this is the Club Office - I'm sure that Steve will be able to do more than is possible here, where all that can be done is to talk about it. Also, does your Club Mag have the correct - and clear - address on it? An incorrect or smudged post code can now introduce quite a delay, as can incorrect franking You might even try getting someone to post you an old issue from the Cheltenham area and see how long it takes to arrive. 	Hi guys - all the mags leave the publishers on the same day and are then passed into the Royal Mail system. The aim is that they are with members for the 1st of ach month. The Jan mag was a bit late due to the way the bank holidays fell over Xmas. The Feb one was done to time and has actually been despatched a little early!

	OK thanks guys, i was sure that all the mag's left at the same time, so didn't want to burden the office. Its not just the magazine, it also seems that the odd eBay item is also delayed. Address and Postcode are correct and clear, so its not that issue. Strangely enough, i've just a call from home confirming that mine arrived this morning! The reason this is confusing to me, is that other members in my region, within 10 miles or so, i.e. same sorting office, got their magazines 2 days earlier than me! Just seems a little strange!
