DJS Research Ltd. have been given permission by the club to gather feedback from our forum users regarding the subject of "what makes a classic car classic".

The results of the survey from all respondents will be shared at a major UK Classic Car show in February this year. 

 

All responses are completely anonymous, the average time to complete the survey is currently 8 minutes, the survey is being delivered by an independent market research agency.

I did, but the questionnaire is a pretty standard format.

Tony on the basis it was the only RHD ALPINA B7 E65 registered in the UK in 2006, it is rare. If rarity is a condition which would render it a classic, then it is. There are plenty of old cars, just not plenty of rare cars.

My E39 might be getting towards a classic as it is 19 years old, but it is in poor cosmetic condition and there are loads of them.
