   Hi, Can any one tell me if the valve stem oil seals can be replaced without taking the head off.

 I have read that rope inserted in the plug hole at bottom dead centre and the piston wound up, will lock the valves in place, or an air line via the plug hole can be used, but is there room to slide the rockers away from the top of the valves to gain access to the collets.

Any advice would be very welcome,  Cheers, Pete

	Hi Norrie, thank you for your reply via a PM I did as you suggested and Googled Barry Sherwood, it seems he has gone out of business and another firm have taken over. The reason I have posted instead of sending you a PM is because I apparently do not have permission to send a PM, seems strange since I have been a member for over 16 years and a member of the BMW Drivers Club before that.
