Hi
Does anybody know where I might be able to get my ECU checked out and maybe get any dried out soldering fixed?

I am based in the Midlands.

Or maybe someone has one spare that I could try in order to help identify where my fault lies.

Thanks
Rob.

There used to be a specialist at Newnham Lodge in Plympton, Plymouth, who could repair almost any ECU-type unit.

Thanks Mike

I tried a search for businesses in Newnham Lodge, Plympton, Plymouth but nothing stood out.

I can't exactly fine Newnham Lodge, there is Newnham Road/Way, so I am not sure that I am looking in the right place.

Anyway, Plymouth is probably nearer to you than me time wise.

Rob.

Hi,

My friend Paul Burke is an Auto Electrician.  You can send to him if you wish.  Rodney is an electronics engineer who can solder any dry parts and detect faults.  I will ask Paul if he would do this.  If so I will message you with his mobile number.  We are based in Enniskillen, N. Ireland.  That is if you have not had any luck with any one else in England!

regards

Richard

Thanks Richard. One would hope that I could find a suitable auto electrician in England unless they have all become extinct.
