Yes another controversial 'M' but not 'M' LOL

I'll post some pics up later, its dirty at the moment, hehe.

Cheers!

The E30 325i MTech 2 I collected it on Saturday on a gorgeous day!  Absolutely love it.  It has had a fair bit of work done to it, but it needs another level to complete the whole restoration, mainly the front end and inner arches.  The rear was completed 5 years ago.  But I can get a few years driving before will do this!

Thanks!

New discs all round tonight for MOT Thursday.  Fingers crosses.  However, one of the jacking points crumbled (Rusted)  but did not go through the floor when I put her on the lift!  Future repair to be done on both jacking points!

Cheers Rich,

I came across this when I was picking up my X5 for the dealer!  The IT guy in there had this car 10 years!  Needed to sell to do up the house!  I was enquiring about E30's and now I have one.  I remember as 18-19 yr old driving these when my dad got his car serviced they gave him 318iS, 320i and the odd 5 series.

Brings back memories!

regards

Richard

Interesting, what is the BHP now and which supercharger is it? How have you uprated the transmission, brakes etc to handle the extra power?

Its the ESS V3 560 kit, transmission is standard, brakes have been upgraded on the front to 4 pot AP racing calipers & the rear has been upgraded to the 4 pot Porsche 996 calipers, so in terms of stopping power its spot on for my driving style.

Hi all,

I’m Clark from South Staffs, 28 and on my third BMW.

First I had a 1898 E30 325i sport.

And then February last year I bought a 2013 ActiveHybrid 3, I have plans to hopefully get this remapped and get an LSD.

The person to contact if you have that model is Richard Stern, he looks after the 02 register. The car club can put you in touch with him.

Hello all and everyone,

My name is Angus and I am a new member to the BMW car club and Forum.

A BMW fan for many years I drive a BMW 320d GT and a Compact Sport which has been in the family since 1997 showing less than 80000 miles.

My other motor is a 1976 Triumph Stag with the original 3.0L V8 engine.

Photo's to follow if and when I work out how to do it.

I live in North Cornwall if there are any local BMW owners in the area.

Hi everyone, my name is Dan and I'm based just outside of Oxford.

I used to be a member of the BMWCC back in the late 00's, when I owned an E30 Alpina C2. As of last November, I was able to get myself an E85 Z4M-Roadster, as the coupe's were just a stretch too far for my budget. Luckily my Z4MR was actually pretty close to Oxford (about 16 miles away) and have been blown away at how nice and sorted it feels.

I take it's a more active area? I should be moving out that way in the next 6 to 12 months.

I am having issues with posting some pics. Is it because I need "x" post count for it to work?

Afternoon all,

Chris here from sunny (not) South Wales.  Joined the club a couple of days ago so thought it natural to join the forum too so this is me saying Hi.

I've owned a reasonably tidy E61 for about three years now.  I'm quite happy with it and it's my first BMW.  Thinking about adding a 3 series coupe at some point in the future though.

Go to the relevant forum e.g. 3 series, then select New Topic ~ fill in as required

Just to help you, I've moved your 2 other posts to the 3 Series forum and started a new thread for you see ~ https://bmwccgbforum.co.uk/topic15670.html

Hi Joined the club after belonging to BMWLand and sadly the guy who set it up passed away some years ago... not bothered with clubs since however here we are

Several BMW’s under my belt circa 20 including E30, E32, E34,E39, E60, E92 and now an E71

So may need guidance and may be able to offer some

Have a pub in the New Forest and no doubt will offer some sort of discount to members in due course

Cheers

best thing to do is you speak to Tim Maltby who is the regional chairman for the Wessex region he knows what is going on in your area. His details are in your club mag.
