Car polishing and detailing is not my strong point which takes alot of time and effort, which i have not got.

I wanted to get my E30 touring  engine and interior detailed ready for Gaydon, as the engine bay was a mess!!

So i decided to use a local company who has a safe location
 Robbie at Valet magic. www.valetmagic.com
or email info@valetmagic.com for more info.

Check the links out below :-

enjoy

Sorry, but it seems to me that having someone else clean your car before a concours is a form of cheating - or have I missed something?

If such a car were to receive a prize, perhaps it should be awarded to the detailing company . . .

Thanks steve yes that is a surprise under the hood.
No im going onto to the modifying stand not e30 stand this year.

MIke i did not say i was entering into concours????  Also this is a everyday car which gets dirty very quickly!!

However i know alot of people who get their cars clean by professional companies and then go enter their cars into show and shines.!

Well, you DID say 'Ready for Gaydon.'

I wan't referring to an individual anyway, but my comment still stands - it's rather akin to bringing your car on a trailer - a way of gaining an advantage over other entrants, without putting any work in.  A form of cheating.

Well maybe i will re-word it then have it presentable for displaying at Gaydon, and not entering it into show and shine or concours.

Well Mike i do agree with what you saying, about people who trailer their cars my opinion is that shame not to drive the car. But some people cant afford to insure and tax etc their cars expecially in the current climate, but i respect the people who still bring their cars  on a trailer for others to appreciate as well.

everyone entitle to their own opinions i guess.

wakey, wakey Mike. Concours has not been at Gaydon for last two years.
Its mainly now bling and performance bits. Perhaps pigeon post to France is lost??

trust you are well, steveH
