As Norrie said Paul, if you ask your local Main dealer they should print you a build sheet which will tell you all the spec of your car when it was built, just see the parts dept with your vin number. Smile

You can use the vin decoder on ETK

http://www.etk.cc/

which will give you the code for the leather if fitted at factory

If you got the build sheet printed off at your parts dept it will state a code number and colour, mine states 0641 light grey leather, you will need the code number to  get the exact match if you order your dye from a reputable company such as Glyptone..Wink

The Bimmer.Work VIN decoder is a bit hit and miss, sometimes it works, sometimes not.  Try it again at a different time.  You could also try http://www.bmwvin.com/
2013 F06 M6 Gran Coupe
2003 E39 M5

I found the code but still couldnt get a description until I searched through paperwork that came with the car and it said Light Silver Grey, so hopefully what I ordered is correct, will test on an inconspicous part first Dave !
