Help / advise sought
Presently my 1997 Z3 does not benefit from a wind deflector. Our model does not have the roll-over bars fitted so that eliminates the'easy to fit' wind deflector which goes over the hoops. So the other one seems to have the main mesh type deflector which is held by some fitting. The latter seems to be fitted from within the rear parcel shelf. These fittings are available to buy so questions 1) how could I check if my Z3 already has the fitting kit installed ?? 2) assuming it is not then how practical is it to retro-fit ?? 3) given latter is it likely to damage the rear parcel shelf in the process ?? Sure this must have been done by some of you before - just hope you bother looking on this forum & happy to respond to my post Thanks in anticipation - Steve H

Please see general thread
The one that fits the turret is the Mk1 wind deflector original fitment to your car Steve. the one that fits through the panel (parcel shelf) is the later model
