Hi all. A potential car I want to buy has had its first MOT and it has an advisory...
Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
I am aware that sometimes advisories are issued with undertrays because the MOT tester cannot look underneath but normally the advisory reads something like... "Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components" Does my advisory mean that the undertray is damaged or just obstructing a full check?

Hi
I wouldn’t be concerned about the undertray advisory.I had an e46 for 12 years & in all those years i had it undertrays & engine covers was only mentioned on 4 mots in a row. Since the new owner they haven’t been mentioned at all. I guess it is just where ever it goes for mot’s. Rich
