Can anyone recommend any courses on track driving?

My emphasis is on the learning to drive a car fast on a track not the car itself!!

Thank you for your help!

Adrian.

Adrian,
It's probably best to get yourself booked onto one of the clubs track days, even if there are no instructors present (but I think that they usually are) then there will be plenty of people with track experience to advise you and it will be cheaper than specific "training".

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you...

Adrian - I think there are usually instructors around or people who know enough about it to sit with you and guide you round for a few laps. Also, I read a book - Track Day - Driver's Guide by Art Markus (ISBN 1 899870 59 8) which is really really good and probably becomes more useful the more you read it and the more track days you do. You can do 'Novice Track Days' - we did one at Brands Hatch - and you can pay extra for instruction. TBH the instruction wasn't as good as BMW Car Club 'Better Driving Days' - and that instruction is free!
