Can anybody help please? I'm thinking of spending the kids' inheritance on a current model Z4, but not sure which engine to choose. I was hoping to aspire to the M40i, but several online reviews suggest that the 3.0i might actually suit the car better as it's lighter. Has anybody driven both?

Hi
I like your idea of spending the kids inheritance 😂😂. I haven’t driven a z4 but did think of looking at the 3.0 version before i decided on the 335d that i got 2 months ago. All I would suggest is go to a dealer & try both to get a good comparison & go from there. Rich

Thanks Rich. My son has a 1 series with the M40i engine ... that goes like a rocket! I'll request a test drive once we get back to some form of normality. Cheers!
