Hi folks,

I will be running an E36 318Ti compact as a trackday/competition toy. She has been stood for about four years and only recently become road worthy.

I plan to do an engine oil change and was wondering what others use/recommend.

I also want to check/change the gearbox and diff oil so any thoughts on this would be helpful too.

is it an M42 or M44 either way 10-40 Castrol will be fine for road and track just let it go low as you want to make sure pump and no4 cylinder always has oil when cornering hard....see you at the car club trackdays - dates will be due soon for 2017
