Hello,
I have a E36 318is and wanted to buy another E36: drive both around for a bit then sell one.
I had to take out 2 separate policies (cheaper than a multi policy with Admiral) with Esure who are the cheapest insurers at the moment. I have now sold one: so have had to cancel that policy for a £50 charge: cancel the policy on my kept car because they would not protect the NCD mid term on a policy.

Now I have a new policy with Sheilas wheels; more expensive than esure: but I am not giving esure any more of my money.

I spoke to a very knowledgeable guy at AJ Insurance who said the only way around this would be a motor trade policy: but then they do not carry over your NCD!! It is all very rigid and set up to police the crooks in the motor trade.

Any Comments?

Hi, I have similar situation and went to Privilege. Excellent service, on basis I can only drive one car @ a time!! the second car can't earn ncb but it's cheap anyway! John

Thank you for this. Could not find any info about two car insurance on the Priviledge website. What sort of costs/cars are we talking about?
Best Adrian.
