If you are in the SE region you may have noticed that the position of regional representative is vacant. If you wish to volunteer to help the club or know of someone who is interested please contact the club office.

However, you may be looking for some events to attend and whilst these are not bmwccgb organised official events they are in the South East of England geographical region and not too far from London. Also not far off the M25 so accessible from all locations.

They are all at the same locations Denbies Wine Estate RH5 6AA and can be booked via Eventbrite on line.

11th may 25

BMWs of 20th century 1000-1600 all models launched before 2000 to include E36, E46, E39 etc

29th June 25

Deutschemarques 25 1000-1600 all BMW models with Porsche & Mercedes

31st Aug 25 1000-1600 Alpina & M Power event

I attended the "Ultimate" BMW meet this past weekend.  While I could have easily missed it as I didn't go to the end of the parking area where the regional groups were, I'd not seen the SE region banner there.  Also would have hoped for a few more performance oriented vendors there.

I see this position may have been vacant for about a year now.  I've been an on and off again BMWCC member both here and in the US since 2007.  I also have run the Chicago rotary car club in the '00s when I was still in the US as well as built and admin'd its associated forum.  I've been meaning, for a long time, to get more active into whatever car clubs.

While in no way would I suggest I'd like to take this position given I know virtually no one, I would like to help to get things going.  I have a particular interest into motorsport, and more specifically track days, though there too it's been a bit far and few between since my last time behind the wheel.

I will keep an eye out on on any regional meetings, but I see nothing at present, in particular for anything Kent related.  Happy to have a smaller conversation with anyone who's taken up the temporary mantle to get a state of the general activities and/or member interest in said activities.

Have a word with Michelle in the Office, she'll advise you what is required and what help they can provide ~ it would be good to see the position filled.

Good Evening. The Ultimate Events was not organised by the Club, there were a number of members who attended and the organiser who I spoke managed to coordinate all those regions who had applied in separate groups and put them in one area.

Many people who are members of this club are also members of other clubs and groups so it can become diluted.

There is current no volunteer for the position, the previous representative has now developed his group and amalgamated with another group to form a large one in the South East, this does not include the Kent area.

I am sure that if you wanted to take the position the club would be delighted to give you full consideration.
