Many thanks to those who attended the Basingstoke Festival of Transport on Sunday 10th May 15. We had a good mixture of BMW cars including 5 Alpina, welcome back to Chris Birkett with his Bi turbo. The E28 of Tim Maltby was nice to see after it had been restored by him and Simon Alcorn over many weekends last year.
Thanks also to support from the Hampshire BMW Drivers Club with who we share the area I guess we had over 20 cars and one BMW Motorbike. This is really a great event and if you have not been before then try it, free entry and many historic cars and vehicles to see, lots of motor car related stands and auto jumble. Run by the Thorneycroft Society. We were lucky after a dull weather start it brightend around mid day, but a good day for all. |

Hi Norrie.
I'm looking maybe to do this one next year as Basingstoke is my home town. So I can see family to at the same time. Do you know if this will be running next year? Many thanks |
