Right....so after making up some new pipes for the rear SLS on my iX Touring it's found a new place to leak from. I was thinking of blocking the sls (with fluid inside and at the correct height) by initailly clamping the single pipe that feeds the two rear struts via the three way union. Am I correct in assuming that if I block this pipe then I can route the feed pipe from the power steering pump back into the pump and that's basically it? Or am I sorely mistaken and it's a hell of a lot more complex than that?
If I do this, I'm assuming I will still have suspension, just not self levelling, which doesn't bother me in the slightest. So essentially I block off pipe number 1 that feeds the three way union number 7.
