Hi,

I recently bought an 1986 325i E30, originally the car came from New Zealand and was imported to the UK in the 90's. Does anyone have any history with regards to the New Zealand version and im pretty sure its a M-Tech 1. I know that it has a limited slip diff and a de catalyzed exhaust as factory standard. I think it is more or less identical to the European 325i.

Anyone know anything about this model.

Have you run the VIN through one of the on-line VIN decoders ? That should give you which plant it was built in, and the original specification
