Hi mick
Have you changed the brake pad sensors? Does the car have idrive? On my f30 to reset the brake fluid timing to 2 year schedule is done through idrive system. Whether it is the same process for brake pads i don’t know because i haven’t had to do those as yet on my car.
I did find on internet though if it helps a video of how to do it. With ignition on but without engine running. Press & hold the little button in that resets the mileage trip & it brings up a menu of reset features, scroll through by a quick press of the button until you come to brake pad reset & then use the same button to do the reset process.

Hope this helps

Rich

Thanks for the reply. Yes I replaced the front sensor. I'll have another look later on the menu when I've finished work.

Hi rich. I've just got ho.e and had a look again
On the menu all I get is oil change reset
Brake fluid reset
Nothing about resetting brake pads.
So at the moment I have no idea.

Thanks .
I'm going g to take it in and get the rear brakes changed so they can reset brake light.
I thought that someone e would know a way in to do it as servicing cars yourself.
Thanks again
Mick
