Hello,
I would really like to go on a day of detailing training as I do not know what I am doing: a bit hit and miss. Are there any possibilites in the South East?
At the moment I do I meguairs pre wash and wash! Yep the pre wash really does make a difference! Then I towel off with microfibre towels. Then put on a Zaino Z-AIO All in one wax out of laziness. I do this about once every six weeks.

I have just purcahsed a sonus clay bar and zymol wash which I have not used yet! Wheels are a problem - see previous post!! I also put on a bumper care gel on all the rubber seals and bumpers etc. (Autoglym - whose products I don't like) but it a gel is far better than a spray!

I am just about to have a go at taking the wheels off and cleaning up the arches! I have not done much with the inside: and do not want to get into the engine compartment!!  I consider myself 25% sad as a lot of people (men) on the detailing websites are nuts in their dedication.

It is a real detaining jungle out there!! In hindsight I would start and pay £100 for a really good basic kit from meiguairs, zaino, or zymol. My aim is to make the car look great for as long as possible with the least effort!
Maybe I should just get a life!

Adrian.

Not South East but Bernie is organising a trip to McGuiars on the 21st March at Daventry.

Think about what you can do for the club, not what it can do for you...
