Doncaster Classic car show 12 July

   I will again be attending this, my home event and hoping too, as last year to get a good group of members and their BMW,s at the Doncaster Classic car show 12 July 2015.This year returning to the open spaces attached to the Doncaster School for the Deaf. 
As last year lots of additional entertainment, not just the large varied collection of cars but music side shows and trade stalls along with the usual refreshment vendors.
I hope this year to attract at least one model from each of the 3 series models for a display celebrating the forty years of the 3 series. In addition getting the Alpina chaps down celebrating their 50 year anniversary.
Please let me know if planning on joining us on the day, will once again be inviting my friends from Alpina, Z Roadster.org and Z roadster.net 18 cars last year looking to increase on that figure for 2015.

	Anyone coming to the show with an E46. Would also be good to have some other variants of all the 3 series (Touring, Convertible etc.) All other BMW's welcome, as we will be having further displays of Z,s 1,5,6 & 7 Hopefully and if their's any 8 series owners out there would be very welcome. A further section for Classic BMW's would be great, with a little area for any 700's out there (Tommy)? Not forgetting the new members of the family the twos and fours, please let me know if coming along. I have a supply of application forms i can send out if you PM me your details. 	I came to this last year, it was very enjoyable. However, I stayed with my friend Paul who has an E 30 and a B 10 Alpina, in Barnsley. I shall have to see if he is going this year, but he is trying to move to Skipton as he works in a school there now. That is if there are no objections and Alpina cars welcome?

	I did contact Sytner regarding their E21, however it is not road worthy at present. They do us many favours (Alpina at least) that it was not reasonable to ask them to trailer it there. If we borrowed it then we would need to insure it against any damage and I suspect that would not be accommodated as too much risk for the club?

	Thanks Norman for trying, hopefully someone out there with a road worthy one will join us, Steve B still a possibility. There was one on display last year all be it individually would love to find out who's car that was and ask him to join us at least for the day?

	Need a F30 for the 3 series display in addition to the E21 Anyone out there with a new 3 series fancy a day out at a really good show to help complete the 3 series display? (Will try local dealer if no members available with one although would prefer a members car)
