   I am trying to diagnose a problem with the EDC suspension system on my 1994 3.8 M5.   Fault message EDC Inactive.  Can anyone tell me what equipment I need to access fault codes?  I have already cleared some other codes with a Snap On Scanner, but it did not access all modules on the car.  I have an old laptop running XP and the 20 round adapter cable.  It's the software and interface requirement that I am unclear on. Thanks.
