Hi, I have an E90 330d with an annoying clicking noise coming from the steering column inside the car - its been back to the dealers once but the noise persists - any ideas???

does the e90 have steering wheel "slip rings" for the horn?  the grease on these used to thin out on the e36 and cause a grinding or squeaking noise... maybe history is repeating itself!

Thanks for the info Steve - I will ask the dealers when we book the car in (again!) to have this looked at...

This is a known fault on some E90s; there's a technical service bulletin for it.
