We are arranging a meeting with the guy's form the "North East Region" on the 4th October 2009 . We will be meeting them at the "Boat Inn " for lunch then on to Kielder Forrest for some photo's. More info to follow as i get it from Mick .

Please add your name below if this is of interest to you & SAY IF YOU ARE EATING at the "Boat Inn" or not so i can give Mick numbers so he can book tables

FURTHER UPDATE :-  Here are the arrangements for meeting up on Sunday :-

Meet at Tesco car park at Eskbank ( Get onto Edinburgh City Byepass ( A720 ) take the Sheriffhall roundabout , from the roundabout take the South exit ( A7) over a few mini roundabouts & you will come to Tesco ) at 9.30 A.M for a 10.00 A.M departure as it takes 2 hr 30 mins to get there .

Lunch will be booked for 1 P.M at "The Boat Inn " Leaplish Water Park , Hexham, Northhumberland

Today's meet was a joint meet, with our friends from the North East (England) Region, at the Boat Inn Restaurant, Leaplish Waterside Park, near Kielder.
Once again we were blessed with a nice sunny day for our meet - roof-down motoring for the zedders (I actually got burnt). However, it did go overcast and showery when we did the photos.

With the nice background of the Kielder Water, we decided just to park the cars on the boat ramp rather than move to another location (see photos below)

On the way back for some mad reason I followed the TomTom route and lead the group back via Jedburgh and the A68 - what a nightmare with speed cameras (I'm sure some of them are illegal as they were hidden behind trees/bushes?)
The only good bit was the new Dalkeith bypass which cuts a fair bit of the journey.

A big thanks to everyone for another great meeting.

Yup indeed had a good day out ... and did wonder why we went back the camera ridden A68 .. but wasnt to fussed ... was out for a drive :)
 
I hate speed cameras but my little dashboard buddy kept me safe :)
