E21s at the Ace

I took a few but i-phone cameras are pretty lame in the dark. I don't think I have seen 11 (yes ELEVEN! )e21's in one place for a long time.

I was quite taken with the black 320/6 on the W plate. It had the odd minor bubbly bit here and there but it looked good lowered on the standard 5.5x13 steels with chrome rings.

Mark - be good if some of the guys can make it to Silverstone in October and possible meets before that combined with the E30 or as Jon is planning.

Well, I've managed to find a couple of rarer Alpina e21's in the past couple of weeks. A C1 and an A3/s, which I hope I can persuade to attend some events in the coming year.
We are also doing a photo shoot tomorrow - so long as the weather holds anyway - in the hope that we can continue to give e21's some media attention and encourage owners to get involved. I have had quite a few enquiries recently, from people looking to buy e21's. A couple have found new homes and there are a few 323i's out there that are being restored as we speak.
I realise that this is a quiet time of year when it comes to car shows etc, but it would be great to keep up some momentum. Does anyone know if there is going to be a repeat of the Spring 09 BMW event that took place at the Ace Cafe?

Well February at the Ace Cafe saw a few of the regular e21's and I think there were 5 or 6 in total.
Interest in e21's seems to be on the up with each passing month and several cars have found new homes recently, going by the recent sales on internet auction sites. I was even able to guide a new owner to a rather sweet 316 at a dealers via Autotrader.
Hopefully, the coming season will see a lot more e21's on display?
