   The Next 2010 Dorking area Pub meal meeting will on Saturday 14th August 2010. 

ALL BMW drivers welcome.

Start time of 7pm for 7.30pm.

	Hi All, just had this email from Ian at the Kings Arms... ................................................................................ I am delighted to let you know that Chef David is just putting the finishing touches to his Summer menu which, we will be launching on Monday 19th July! You will find that he has added a whole range of new dishes including for starters a salmon and plaice terrine with a light gazpacho dressing and a chicken liver parfait served with jasmine sultanas and red onion jam. You will be able to enjoy a whole new pasta section with a delicious sounding seafood and spinach tagliatelle in a creamy lemon and chive sauce, as well as fried pork schnitzel with fresh linguini in a tomato and herb sauce. The vegetarians amongst you will enjoy new courgette and black olive fritters with crispy breaded mozzarella and sundried tomato pesto or a creamy ricotta cheese egg tagliatelle. New main courses include the lime and coriander roast chicken with warm potato salad and mango, spring onion & tomato salsa, which I should imagine is going to be a very popular dish, as well as a pan fried Gressingham Duck breast served with roasted shallots and balsamic dressing. If you have a sweet tooth I recommend that you try the new chocolate and caramel slice with mandarin sorbet or the honey and cinnamon mousse with vanilla shortbread biscuit from the new dessert menu! You will be able to see the new menu on our website over the weekend, and don't forget you can book your table online at www.thekingsarmsockley.co.uk/bookings.html where you simply select the date, time and number of people that you want your reservation for and you will be taken through to our reservations partner 'Opentable'. In doing this you will be guaranteed the table and time that you require. You can now also enjoy our new lager that we have recently put on tap: Asahi, the top selling Japanese Lager which compliments food beautifully - do give it a try next time you are passing!
