NEW BMW Race Series for 2014/15 BMWcup

2014 will see a brand new race class designed to encourage value for money racing for new and existing competitors that will be tightly controlled to make it competitive and be a test of driver talent 
There will be supporters and sponsors who will offer help and discounted parts to make help reduce the costs with control parts that will be offered at lower than normal prices - to encourage drivers to take part and make the overall cost as low as possible.
Included supporters include Bilstein, Eibach, Custom Cages, Superpro, EBC and TRS and others joining as we speak
The official launch and press release will be at the Autosport 2014 with full regulations and build costs
Cars are currently being built by Automac, HRD, Amspeed, Templar Windscreens and others already to be ready for the televised rounds at Donington and Silverstone
Hire cars will also be available for the 2.5 litre powered cars that should cost in the region of £5k to build and the bulk of the components will remain standard and will be tightly controlled and checked
More details will be available in time for the Autosport and full release will be published in the club magazine - it should be very exciting for the club to cover in 2014
