Z4 Door Mirror

   Hello All

I have just noticed a small crack in the triangular shaped trim of the NS door mirror of my 2004 Z4. Looks as though it has been hit by a stone and needs to be replaced.

Can anyone give me any pointers on how to remove and dismantle the whole door mirror assembly without doing any damage.

Also, is anyone else having trouble getting into the main BMW Car Club website - I keep getting the message "the website cannot be found"?

	Regret cannot give you any guidance on the door mirror.Hopefully some knowledgeable member will be able to reply. You might get more answers if this was posted in a post on general or z register! Ref site access - I was also getting a problem last night and this morning trying to access the forum from my favourites. Message was stating that address was not valid. However, last night i got in through an e mail message, and this morning, through a yahoo search. I have resaved the yahoo search contact into my favourites and had no problems accessing the site several times today. Maybe someone has hacked the site address !!
