Guys,

A fellow driver has been kind enough to remove a couple of bits of paint from my rear quarter!

I'm not sure which route to go down to fix it - DIY (it is a bit big) or bodywork shop (it is a bit small)

Any thoughts?

Philip

Have you got a 'chips away' franchise or similar near you? My brother was delighted by work he had done by his local one in Bristol.

That's a thought, but I have used them once before and the result wasn't brilliant. Paint had an orange peel effect.
That was a bigger scrape though ( that one was my fault).
Cheers

Philip.

Yup, quality can certainly vary by franchisee - hunt about for a local recommendation.

It's only an 07 E61 (but with 120,000 miles) so not exactly mint but certainly not scruffy.

I'll scout out the local bodyshops I think for some prices :-(
