Hi there I'm the owner of a Golf Yellow 1602 with the registration LFE 605P. I am currently in the process of bringing the old girl back to life. I noticed when i purchased the car that there was a BMW car club sticker in the window. So i wondered if there is anybody on here who remembers this car? previous owners maybe? There is a lack of history with the car so any info would be great. At some point someone has fitted a 2litre M10 with twin Dellorto's, and i know it has spent some time around the London area. Anyway it would be great to get any info.

Can't help with owners etc but I can offer some info......
The registration point to a Lincoln/shire reg, being FE. The dealer in the mid 70s was Crompton and Holt (long gone) on South Park in Lincoln.
If it's now in Aberdeen it has done the rounds

If you download DVLA form V888 (I think?) and send off a fiver they will give you all the ownership history they have on their computer.
I traced all the owners of my cars. It's quite addictive and I could give Miss Marple a run for her money any day.

HI I looked up the old 02 Records and sadly can't find anything on this Registration. Odd as we usually capture all the members, normally I'd say they never joined the club. Mmm maybe the just brought the sticker? Sorry nothing for you, as Mark says give the DVLA a go for a bit of nostalgia.
