Hi everyone,

Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and is looking forward to New Years festive.

That my first post on bmw forum because most of the tiime I was reading it to find information on potential mods/problems/maintenance for my car. I bought my car which was completely stock and not in a great shape in April 2014 and since then all the weekends and evenings were spent on forums or doing something to my car. I think e46 has biggest community among bmw enthusiasts so it helped a lot.

Please see some pics:

Hey mate,

It's not finished yet. I bought m3 laguna seca blue interior off ebay three weeks ago - colour I always liked but it came only with leather inserts rather than full door cards, I replaced front/back seats but when removed door card it appeared leather inserts are not hold by bolts/screw/clips but are permanently glued I found an article on the internet that it's still possible to remove those and then put epoxy and use self tapping screws, but apparently. It will take entire day, I don't have a garage and its not always sunny in London so I decided to do doorcards somewhere around March. Right now it looks odd, people are saying to get at least floor mats or armrest in same blue colour, but if couldn't find it. I still love it because of lumbar support and I always liked this colour. I also started considering painting/wrapping my car in laguna blue or similar.

I checked your thread on your mods - dude you have done a fantastic job to your car !) love it) btw did you sort out problem with subframe rust? Was it expensive thing to do? I spent on my car £4.5k on maintenance/mods and another 4.5 when I bought it but I am still on 230bhp which sometimes make me feel that maybe I should sell my car as it is and buy modded m3, but on another hand who would sell his beloved modded car if it's still in a good condition?

It's been awhile since my last update) I did few more mods to my car, done 5 more UK trackdays, got new semi-slicks on super lightweight bbs rc 301 17" (~ 7.6KG per corner) didn't find more lightweight alloys. In April after installing Quaife LSD even did several laps on Nurburgring  before I crashed into bloody barrier) Spent ** loads of money to get my car back to pre accident condition, did several resprays in different bodyshops around North London and because of poor job quality I asked my friend to come over from Latvia to wrap my car in grey metallic with few carbon bits. Now it looks like freshly painted car I can even polish it. He worked for 5 years in well known wrapping company in Cannes and few years ago decided to return to Latvia and opened his own business there. It was a problem to find a place to do wrapping so we ended up doing it in a workshop where my mate works. Also had a chance to roll my arches.

Thanks mate, yeah I got it sorted, Craig from Dynotorque took care of my subframe/boot floor failure. Wasn't too bad price wise with what he's done.

Like the wrap job, transforms the car like it.
