They are not a club member and are dutch. They turned up at an event and parked for a shot time, clearly knowing what they had. Extreme rare is mint condition worth a six figure sum.

Hi - I know of a few but not too sure how keen they will be to come to Gaydon - did entice some to Silverstone for the Z display but some are dealer principles and they do seem to be busy people 7 days 24 hours ..but worth asking

Norman I will mail you my details over the weekend! Cabrio - as I am new I haven't yet had a chance to speak to Alan Jones properly to find out what his plans are for Gaydon so I will do that before I try to go looking for Z8's! But if its ok to, then your help with finding a few Z's will be much appreciated! As I will explain in my introduction in Straight Six, I don't actually own a Z8 but I am very keen and willing to help with the register and that was ok with the board! I spoke to Jenn in the office and she explained that we needed to be careful with dealer cars at Gaydon because of sales territories and who was sponsoring Gaydon. I think a few DP's picked up Z8's 'cheap' when they came out and stashed them away in storage! - I used to work at a dealer when the Z8 was current but our DP was more into his British classics and had a few quid to spend on them instead.

No problem - I doubt if the DPs have Z8s other than the dealer sticker there wont be anything to worry about as many of them prefer if be under the radar at these events

Hi Alan
I'll try!!!!  I have been in touch with the German Z8 club and they had 48 at a recent event!!! I have also been in touch with one owner in the UK and he cant make it but we are hatching a plan to see if we can do more with the German club and maybe get some cars over for an event!... I am waiting to hear from another owner as we appear to be playing telephone tennis at the moment! I have offered my services on the day to help with the Z area... in preparation for the convoy of Z8's!!!!  Pete
