Hi
I don't know if this has been asked before on here,but I'm hoping someone can help.
I am new to Flickr & want to use it for posting my photos, but I don't know how to post the photo(s) so they can be visibly seen without clicking on the link

  1. 1 On Flickr go to "Share Photo" - the curved arrow at the bottom RHS of the screen 
  2. 2 On the Pop-Up box - Share 1 photo to: ~ select the BBCode tab
  3. 3 In the dropdown for picture size ~ select Medium 800x465 
  4. 4 Now highlight and select the code ~ e.g. 
    [url=https://flic.kr/p/txMt3U][img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7779/18081315148_d560654529_c.jpg[/img][/url]https://flic.kr/p/txMt3U">kinneil_01 by https://www.flickr.com/photos/neroz3/">Neil, on Flickr
  5. 5 On the forum, paste this code into your reply 
  6. 6 Between the 2nd and 3rd lines type Enter twice to split the code  e.g. 
    [url=https://flic.kr/p/txMt3U][img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7779/18081315148_d560654529_c.jpg[/img][/url]

  7. 7 Repeat steps 1 - 6 to add further photos ~ personally, I would only post 6 photos max per post

You need to add the 2 Enters - as in step 6 to format the post correctly

Thanks neil.
I will give it a go from my laptop/pc when I have more photos as the photo I posted was from my iPad & It didn't give me a drop down box to select the photo size.

If you're using the app, there is no option to use the BB Code.  You have to use the webpage version.

Thanks for the info. I did wonder if that was the case,that the mobile version would have its limitations compared to the web version.

hi
It's been a while sine i posted photos on the forum using flikr. as per neils post above. I selected the first photo i wanted to share on the forum by clicking the curved arrow & selected the bbcode but don't get a box to select the size.I cut & pasted the code into the forum but there is only one line of code of which shows as a link when posted on the forum. 

can someone help & tell me if i am doing something wrong

I've not really used Flickr recently as I'm over their hosting limit for the free account 

However, I did try the process and it still seems to work ~ see below 

@Rich ~ try again and post what you get, even if it is just a link - I can then have a look at it
