Hi all, Some of you may remember that I was organising a trip to BMW Killingholme for earlier this year which was put on hold as the facility was not ready. However I have now had confirmation that the facility is fully up and running and ready for our visit which is scheduled for Friday 5th October 2018. The tour will start at 10:30 and should last between 1.5 hours - 2 hours with lunch afterwards. You will need to be at the car park for 10:15. Post code is DN40 3DZ. Please note that photography is strictly prohibited at Killingholme. This is open to all club members. There are only 15 spaces available but if it proves popular, I will try to increase. The facility have kindly agreed to
offer a free lunch to us all so please can you also let me know if you would
like to stay for lunch and if you have any dietary requirements. I have also PM'd everyone from the previous topic to alert them of this new trip/date. Thanks Mani for arranging today and inviting us all along. Really interesting with friendly and knowledgeable hosts showing us around their facility. They genuinely came across as a very happy and well looked after workforce from the office to the shop floor. The day topped of by a very good buffet lunch and a few gifts for us all to take away. (Wouldn't let me take the new 840D home though)

A great visit, we both really enjoyed it. Really surprising how much w eek actually goes into it. Far more than taking cars off a ship and loading them onto a transporter.
