gerald unfortunately depends who does it - reconolised will not be as good as original - my guy is good does not charge too much but way too far away....get some prices and I will will give you an idea if reasonable price and you can always ask to see a job they have done etc - if doubts

I tried some stuff from my mate who has a shoe shop - its designed for sofas and has a dye in it and has worked a treat as it was not too bad to need connolising and wanted to keep the original look if interested will look up the detail cheers

I used Leathercare Renovations in Warrington to do the interior (seats, door cards, dash, parcel shelf, centre console) on my old e34 M5. Cost was about £500 all in.

I dropped the car off on the Monday and picked it up on the Thursday. Don't know if it took that long though as I was working in London all week so couldn't pick it up until then anyway.

I can't give you the exact procedure as I'm only a customer, but it went something like...

Sand, feed, paint, dry, feed, paint, dry, lacquer, dry.

The guys that did mine are ex-Connolly employees and bought some of their materials when the company closed. Unfortunately getting some of the toxic chemicals they used to use is becoming more difficult due to HSE rules and they're having to start using some eco-friendly fluids instead, which take longer to do the job.

gerald..   just had my m3 seats done at leathercare renovations in warrington.  driver seat was a mess, bolster wasalmost threadbare. they did a brilliant job, they look almost new.  its a shame i have to sit on it now!!!  it took 24 hours and cost £100 per seat..  highly recommended.

are u saying the seats arent great or the pics arent great?   i think the re connollising is the future,, you can spend a lot of dosh on a re trim and at the end of the day all you do is sit on them!
