This one really is a bit last minute as it's only a few weeks away. After sweet talking the organisers a bit I've managed to acquire a limited number of passes for the 'Rotherham show 2010' in Clifton Park on their club day which is saturday 11th of september.
 
There will be live music, a funfair, trade and craft stands, millitary vehicles amongst other things going on, not forgetting all the usual facilities of the park which includes a beach area, crazy golf, water park etc etc. The organsiers are also holding a concours for those inclined.
 
Entry is £2.90 on the day but entrants will need to get a pass off me to get onto the display.

I have already entered my M635 for this show as I attended last year, but would be happy to join a BMWCC display if there is one.

Oops - just realised that the Club is there on the Saturday and I am entered on the Sunday!

I understand that Saturday is for the older vehicles, which is why my M635 is displayed on the Sunday.

Sorry Kelly - if it's a good show perhaps we can sort out a proper Club display next year.

I would have gone for the sunday being the normal day for car shows but it was fully booked up. The organisers kindly argreed to let us have some passes for saturday without prebooking. I was told saturday is being billed as the 'club day' so should be other clubs as well as older vehicles.
If the show is any good we WILL have something organised in plenty of time next year.
 
As a footnote, could you be our man on the ground on sunday and report back your thoughts? It would really help for next time.

Hi Kelly, will do. After the disappointing turnout at Thoresby we do need to organise these NE events well in advance – and get some adverts in Straight Six.

The passes arrived this morning much to my relief. I'll be outside the entrance on the day and on the lookout for members that I've spoken to.

I did see the ad in the Regional news section. What I meant was a nice big colour ad repeated throughout the mag like all the NW Region events seem to have!
