Hi all I know its early but with an overnight stay on the agenda thought I had better make a start.
This months meet is planned for Sun 5th March and consists of a scenic drive around the Durham & Weardale dales with a stop off somewhere for lunch. Im looking at a couple of hotels in the area and awaiting prices but it would be handy to have a rough idea of how many would like to attend. So please add names below stating weather you wish to stay over and also weather you want lunch on the Sunday. Won't make this one i'm afraid. Pity as it looks a good one. Hope you get a good turnout for it.
I'm off to London to watch Stock Car Racing at Wimbledon Stadium one last time before they flatten it to build a new stadium for AFC Wimbledon.

Quick update:-
The best western hotel I was in contact with cant do me a good enough deal so we are going to go with the Premier Inn which we have stayed at in the past for the Beamish show. It currently has rooms available for £37 and has a Toby carvery next door and a sports bar over the road im sure many of you remember being in there.  I will send private messages to those on the list with the hotel details tonight as price will only go up the closer we get.  |

No, we missed this somehow. Maybe because Michael is out travelling a lot. As always joining the Scottish Region would be a real pleasure, and 5th March is clear on the NE regional calendar. Have you got any more details you could share on times, places etc ?
