On the 27th of January one of the Historic Monte Carlo rally starting points will be Glasgow.
This is in keeping with the way it used to run in the 50's, 60's etc, where there were various points throughout europe competitiors would leave from.
This year there will be MKII Escorts RS1800, Datsun 240z and a whole host of others.
Strating time is 18:30hrs from Blythswood square

Well I went along to see this and have to say I was well impressed. Some cracking pieces of machinery and what a turn out of spectators. Got there along with T31MUL about 4ish and stayed until about 7:15pm, then went for a couple of [:beerchug:] just to warm us up you understand. Met Paul and John Sharpe there amonst others. Enough of my ramblings here are some pics I took.
