You might wish to check some forums, I believe there were a number of transmission issues with this model. Did you have any warranty? Also see if the transmission oil has ever been replaced? The "sealed for life" means the time BMW expect the first owner to have the car and not forever. I like the look of these cars and I think you will be happy.
