Hi does anyone know where to find the model variant?  I have an X1 xDrive20i Sport but looking on eBay for mats I find that there are variants such as U11 F48 etc. I'm not wanting to waste money or time on getting the wrong ones.

Thank you.

As a first port of call, have a look at the club's website ~ https://bmwcarclubgb.uk/series/x-series/

X1's are E84 or F48

I Googled BMW Chassis Codes - this was one of the results ~ https://www.turnermotorsport.com/t-BMW-Chassis-Codes

E84 ~ built 2012 to 2015
F48 ~ built 2016 ...

Also, if you go to RealOEM you can put you VIN into the 'serial number' box and click search and it will bring up all the components for your car.

For example my 335D comes up as an April 2016 F31 335dX

But on most parts sites, you can filter by registration or VIN to restrict the results to parts that match your vehicle.
