New addition

Thought I'd post up a quick update on life with the X5. It's making an excellent commuting tool between home & Halifax and it's currently returning 32mpg overall which I'm please with.

At the weekend, I used it to drag a 10 ft twin axel box trailer full of house stuff like 2 sofa's, chairs, 3 beds and all manner of domestic things up and over the Highlands to our new house just north of Ft William. It didn't miss a beat and really didn't make a fuss of towing aside from changing from 6th to 5th a bit too often but nothing that switching to manual didn't solve.

Just prior to the weekend I had a removable Witter towbar fitted which when removed, really does hide behind the little flap which makes it look less agricultural!

Give it another week and it'll be used again and again for the same...but I can think of worse places to spend 7 hours (each way).
